Mark Reeves
Mark qualified as a Solicitor in 1989 after obtaining his Law degree from the University of Hull and completing his professional studies at The College of Law, Lancaster Gate, London.
Originally from the South of England, Mark chose to study and establish his career in the North, favouring long-term commitment to the region over the traditional London route.
Early in his career, he specialised in criminal defence and appeared regularly as an advocate in courts throughout the North East.
For over 20 years, Mark has been closely involved in the development of Halliday Reeves as a specialist immigration practice. While no longer undertaking client advisory work, he now focuses on the strategic direction of the firm, including business development, regulatory governance, marketing and operational growth.
As Senior Partner, Mark plays an active role in mentoring and supporting members of the team, ensuring the firm continues to evolve, invest in technology and maintain the high professional standards for which it is known.
Outside of work, Mark follows Manchester United and Formula 1, is a regular gym user and parkrun participant, and has completed several half marathons. He is happily married and has two grown-up children and two grandchildren.
Victoria Guyatt
Victoria qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 after studying Law and History at the University of Central Lancashire and The College of Law, Chester.
She has specialised in Immigration Law since 2000 and provides strategic, practical advice across a broad range of immigration matters for individuals and businesses.
Victoria has worked with Mark for over 25 years.
Outside work, Victoria is a keen follower of sport and enjoys cooking, with much of her free time focused on bringing up her two young boys.
